Exhibition Review

Fossa

Sadegh Adham’s painting exhibition was recently held at Vali Gallery. Adham is more known as a sculpture with themes of mythology and archetypes, but in this exhibition he has tried a different style.

“Fossa, the title of this show means hole in Shushtari language which the works represent it well. According to what Adham said, his painting come from his own experiences and they were supposed to reflect a definition of death.

He has been inspired by his birthplace and seems as he has combined it with the title to create such form. However, Adham’s ability in his former works of sculpture has been more proficient.
