Exhibition Review

Hamed Takhtchin’s show titled “Cubes” in A Gallery has no text or statement, and instead of that, presenting only one work takes us with itself to the world of the artist. A world that everything in that is shaped by square and rectangular surfaces; In fact, the cube or as the artist says: “The Cubes”.
It is as if the artist’s eyes reduce everything in front of his eyes to a cube and recognize it through these layers. In this world, all the layers are tended to stillness, a stillness that completely solves movement, action, and reaction in itself. They are silently struggling to convey meaning. But does their voice is heard? Aren’t the voices monotone in a world where everything is uniform?
The show ends with the smartness and transformation of the cube (volume) to a square (surface) as its raw material.
