This project is the result of my encounter and curiosity in two features of archiving and reproducing photography. I have tried to have a brief representation of my personal experience: going deep into the world of similarities and differences of two women from one generation, my mom and her mother.
Ever since I can remember, I always loved flipping through family albums, and even after my marriage, I asked to see my husband’s family albums at the first opportunity. The similarities between the photos of my mom and my mother-in-law, despite some obvious differences, were so interesting that remained in my mind, until some years later that I used them in documentary photography class by Mr. Mohajer. The virtuality of the classes allowed me to try to recreate the feeling I had while watching the albums for the others.
