With the start of the Corona virus and all those days spent in quarantine, my only source of happiness seemed to be just flipping through my family old photo albums, mostly captured by my father from the nostalgic moments of the family. This made me decide to personalize and recreate some of these images in paintings by focusing on feelings and personal understanding. In this process, the story and reality behind each image and its confrontation with my daily life were more displayed. This also made me feel closer to the people. This series seemed to help me to continue my life through the recovery and recreating past memories and nostalgia, which was one of the few motivations for me to continue my daily life and the hardships of the Covid era.
